TATWEER PETROLEUM NAG LTFD Phase-1 Project (May 2018)

Project Background:

In order to maintain gas deliverability from the Awali field in Bahrain, Tatweer Petroleum undertook Long Term Field Development (LTFD) Project to install Centralized Gas Dehydration Facility (CGDF).

Phase 1 comprised On-Plot facilities (One Dehydration Train with associated support facilities and Off-Plot facilities). 05 Nos. of existing Wellhead Areas were upgraded and new pipelines were installed to provide connectivity with both new and existing field infrastructure.

05 Nos. of existing Non Associated Gas (NAG) Wellheads were rerouted to a new production gathering network to supply Wet Gas to the new CGDF facility. Currently these five wells feed existing CGDUs (K01, K02 and K07). The new CGDF provided a new production pathway for these existing 5 Nos. of NAG wells and eliminated the bottleneck which was imposed by the existing CGDUs. The CGDF facility itself was installed at a Greenfield location within the Awali Field.

The EPC contractor for the project was Petrofac and the entire construction of the project was awarded to MCSC.
