ALBA EPC for Water Treatment Plants (DM1 & RO1) Project (May 2018)

Project Background:

The project includes Engineering, Procurement and Construction of two Water Treatment Plants for Alba.

DM1 Plant: Considering the demand of Demineralized Water of Alba Power Station 5 and future upgradation, it was necessary to install a new Demineralized (DM) Water Plant. The project included Design, Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Two Pass Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant along with Electro De-Ionization (EDI) Units with a total output capacity of 75 M3/Hr.

RO1 Plant: Aged and non-operational RO1 plant was replaced with new RO1 plant. The project included Design, Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Single Pass Reverse Osmosis Plant for producing 110 M3/Hr of potable water / drinking water using brackish well water from existing well pump.

Project Scope & Highlights:

The scope of work involves Design, Engineering, Supply of hardware and software, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of plant and all Field Devices, Control System, Human Machine Interface, Fire Monitoring System, Firefighting Equipment and SCADA and the scope also includes the Design and Construction of two Water Storage Tanks of 12M Dia. x 14M Height with 1500 M3 capacity.
