New Tank Battery Facilities EPC Project for Tatweer Petroleum

Project Background:

As part of the Bahrain Awali field development new drilling programme, Tatweer Petroleum awarded to MCSC the EPC contract for building two identical tank batteries. To process the increased light oil production, each tank battery unit has a set of common facilities serving separation trains with provision for a third separation train to be added in future. Each tank battery separation train is designed to handle an oil flow rate of 10,800 bbl/day, a produced water flow rate of 69,500 bbl/day and 1% of total liquid volume for residual gas.

Project Scope & Highlights:

Project scope included EPC of civil, mechanical, piping construction, equipment erection, painting, electrical, instrumentation, pre‐commissioning & commissioning assistance works of new tank battery facilities TB07 & TB08.
